The dreaded bowl project - my final for Metals&Jewelery. An incorporation of stretching and texture.
This piece is the melancholic state of mind. It is, what I believe, a physical representation of longing with nothing to long for - nostalgic, spiritual, with an air of accepted sadness. Inspired by the book Istanbul, by Orhan Pamuk.
